Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, the Vice Chairman on Environment and representative of the Delta North Senatorial District, visited the OPAC Refinery on Monday, June 3, 2024. Accompanied by his team, Senator Nwoko received a warm welcome from the OPAC management team, led by the Managing Director, Alexander Novikov, and community representatives from Umuseti and Kwale. 

The purpose of the visit centered around critical issues related to community relations and environmental safety. Community leaders confirmed OPAC’s positive engagement with the host community. Senator Nwoko expressed his satisfaction with OPAC’s commitment to environmental protection and its efforts to minimize its impact on the community. 

During discussions, Senator Nwoko emphasized the importance of harmonious relationships between companies and their host communities, praising OPAC’s initiatives.
